Join Us in Spreading Cheer Throughout the Year!
Too many seniors are alone, hungry, and struggling to meet basic needs. For people who find themselves in this situation, obtaining the basics, such as bath soap, toothpaste, paper towels, and other household, hygiene, and health necessities are seldom even an option.
Each year, we collect these essential items to be distributed to program participants during two annual item drives:
It’s an event where the whole community can get involved! You can help by donating comfort, care, and/or shelf-stable food items during the entire months of July and December. You can also organize a team or group to raise money and/or collect items.
During the months of the drives, donations can be dropped off at Senior Services, 2895 Shorefair Drive, between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm or at any Forsyth County Branch of Piedmont Federal Bank! Just look for the Big Red Boxes during July and December each year!
Review the Wish List of commonly needed items. Please help us spread the word.
