An event every month that begins at 3:00 PM on day First of the month, repeating indefinitely
Bermuda Village welcomes seniors, those living with dementia, family care partners, and anyone else who is interested in their monthly “Serendipity Group” led by Dr. Ed Shaw, a dually trained physician and mental health counselor, or one of his colleagues. Ed is Director of the Wake Forest Baptist Health Memory Counseling Program, which offers individual, couple, and family counseling, as well as support groups, for families on the journey with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia. The Serendipity Group is held in an informal setting where issues related to senior medical and mental health, as well as the challenges of being a dementia caregiver, are discussed. Snacks and beverages are served. The group is free to attend and meets the first Tuesday of every month from 3:00 to 4:00pm at the Bermuda Village Retirement Community. Please call 336-998-6763 for more information.
