Grants and Philanthropic Partnerships Manager

Full-Time | Exempt | Annual Salary Starting From: $50,897.60

The Role

Senior Services is seeking a Grants and Philanthropic Partnerships Manager to help grow and strengthen the philanthropic support that makes our mission possible. This role manages the full grant lifecycle—from researching funding opportunities and developing competitive proposals to reporting and compliance—while also building relationships with corporate, community, and other philanthropic partners.

As part of the Development team, this position works across the organization to connect funding opportunities with Senior Services’ programs, priorities, and impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Research grant opportunities and manage proposals, submissions, reporting, and grant deadlines.
  • Partner with Finance, program leadership, and other internal teams to gather data, outcomes, and information needed for grant applications and reports.
  • Build and steward relationships with corporate and community partners, identifying opportunities for giving, sponsorship, and broader engagement.
  • Conduct prospect research to help identify and cultivate potential individual and institutional donors.
  • Maintain accurate grant, donor, and partnership information within fundraising systems.
  • Support donor stewardship, appeals, fundraising communications, special events, and other Development initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • A four-year degree or 3–5 years of comparable nonprofit fundraising experience, including grants management.
  • Demonstrated success developing competitive grant proposals.
  • Strong writing, communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience with fundraising management systems such as Raiser’s Edge or CharityProud is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning new technology.

Why This Role Matters

Strong philanthropic partnerships allow Senior Services to expand resources, strengthen programs, and continue meeting the evolving needs of older adults in our community. This position plays an important role in securing those resources while building lasting relationships with the funders, businesses, organizations, and donors who invest in our mission.

The Grants and Philanthropic Partnerships Manager is responsible for the accurate and timely management of grant proposals, reports, research, and related data, while developing and stewarding corporate and community partnerships. Reporting to the VP of Development, this position supports strategies that strengthen philanthropic relationships and advance Senior Services’ long-term fundraising goals.
