MARKING A MILESTONE!
This year, Senior Services is thrilled to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our adult day services program! Since 1975, we have been at the forefront of providing crucial support to older adults and their families in Forsyth County, particularly people living with frailty and memory loss. In 2024 the Elizabeth and Tab Williams Adult Day Center was named the best adult day service program in the country and will continue to provide innovative and compassionate care to people living with memory loss and/or frailty for years to come!

The Adult Day Center moves into its first dedicated building.

The Alzheimer’s Center opens in response to increased need for specialized care.
2000
Elizabeth and Tab Williams Adult Day Center opens on Melrose Street
2000
The Evening for Alzheimer’s Care fundraiser is established.
2010
Received the “Best Day Center” Award from the National Adult Day Services Association.
2023
The Intergenerational Center for Arts and Wellness becomes the new home of the Williams Center.
2024
Received the “Center of Distinction” award from the National Adult Day Services Association.
2025
