Since 2000, Senior Services has hosted the Art Show and Sale to benefit Meals-on-Wheels. The event features original, one-of-a-kind works of art including pottery, ceramics, glass, textile art, woodwork, jewelry, paintings, photography, mixed media works, furniture, and more. As a fundraiser for Senior Services, each piece of artwork sold helps provide hot, nutritious meals for more than 1,100 older adults in Forsyth County every weekday.
The Art Show and Sale continues to gain popularity and record-breaking crowds. The event is open to the public and will be widely promoted in local media outlets, social media and targeted mailings throughout the community.

Call for Artists
Artists who reside in Forsyth County and immediate surrounding areas are invited to apply to participate in the show. We are grateful that you are considering this opportunity to partner with us to help meet the growing demand to provide home-delivered meals for older adults.
What happens after I apply?
A committee made up of local artists who participate in the show and community volunteers carefully reviews each application, ensuring that all prospective artists are evaluated with a thoughtful and inclusive approach. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and you will be notified of your eligibility to participate within 10-15 business days after your application has been received, often sooner.
If I am accepted, what are my next steps?
At the time that you receive a notification of acceptance from the committee, you will receive instructions for how to complete the Artist Agreement and Registration Process We do not need the work you plan to submit for the show with the agreement, only your signed agreement expressing intent to participate. The first 70 artists to submit the required paperwork to the Art Show Committee will be accepted annually. All other artists will be added to the wait list. As noted in the calendar below, participation confirmations will be distributed in mid-December.
