Hello, Prospective Artists!

Since 2011, Senior Services has hosted the Art Show and Sale to benefit Meals-on-Wheels. The event features original, one-of-a-kind works of art including pottery, ceramics, glass, textile art, woodwork, jewelry, paintings, photography, mixed media works, furniture, and more.

As a fundraiser for Senior Services, each piece of artwork sold helps provide hot, nutritious meals for more than 1,100 older adults in Forsyth County every weekday. Each artist is required to make a determination of the percentage (50% or 100%) of their sales that will be donated to Meals-on-Wheels.

The Art Show and Sale continues to gain popularity and record-breaking crowds. The event is open to the public and will be widely promoted in local media outlets, social media and targeted mailings throughout the community.

Artists who reside in Forsyth County and immediate surrounding areas are invited to apply to participate in the show. We are grateful that you are considering this opportunity to partner with us to help meet the growing demand to provide home-delivered meals for older adults. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Take a moment and complete the application to be juried and share more about your art with the Art Show Committee.

A committee made up of local artists who participate in the show and community volunteers carefully reviews each application, ensuring that all prospective artists are evaluated with a thoughtful and inclusive approach. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and you will be notified of your eligibility to participate within 15-25 business days after your application has been received, often sooner.

Note: If you apply between February and end of March, it may take a little longer for the committee to review s that is active Art Show and Sale preparation and event closeout time. We appreciate your patience!

If you are accepted prior to the annual call for artists, you will receive a jury acceptance only. Our annual call for artists for the next Art Show and Sale is typically in November. Once the call for artists is released, up to 80 artists who submit the required paperwork to the Art Show Committee will be accepted for the Art Show and Sale. All other artists will be added to the wait list and accepted as space allows. As noted in the calendar below, participation confirmations will be distributed in December.

If you are accepted while the call for artists is active, at the time that you receive a notification of acceptance from the committee you will also receive instructions for how to complete the Artist Agreement and begin the registration process. We do not need the work you plan to submit for the next show with the agreement, only your signed agreement expressing intent to participate.
