Senior Services is excited to launch Main Street Connections, a new program provided through the Williams Adult Day Center, designed for older adults who are beginning to experience memory changes or early-stage frailty but remain largely independent. Main Street Connections offers engaging activities in a supportive environment where participants can enjoy meaningful experiences, build friendships, and forge connections across generations.
Through thoughtfully designed programming, we help people continue to live with purpose, explore new interests, appreciate the present moment, and approach their aging journey with more confidence.

This is a group-based social experience that brings people together around shared activities, meaningful conversation, and new experiences.
What makes it especially unique is the setting. Participants don’t just attend a program—they become part of a broader, vibrant community at the Generations Center. It comes with opportunities to interact across programs and partner organizations, build relationships, and stay connected to other people and the community in a natural, welcoming way.
At its core, Main Street Connections is about strengthening social connection early—before more significant needs may take hold.
Each session includes a balanced blend of learning, movement, creativity, and social interaction, all led by trained staff and volunteers who understand the needs of older adults.
The benefits of Main Street Connections include:
Main Street Connections fills an important gap by creating a space for older adults who are currently living with abilities that fall between complete independence and the need for more traditional adult day services.
Main Street Connections provides a unique opportunity for older adults who may be experiencing small physical and/or cognitive changes to feel supported while they remain independent, active, socially connected, and empowered to navigate their aging experience.
Main Street Connections participants are welcome to attend the Williams Center on any schedule they wish. However, the targeted activities for this group will be provided on the following schedule.
Therefore, participants within Main Street Connections are encouraged to attend on this cadence for maximum engagement and benefit.
